Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a Medical Learning Lead who is strategic, innovative, and collaborative to join our Learning and Development team team, based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium (preference) or in our office in Slough, United-Kingdom or in Monheim, Germany.About the roleYou will be working in a team that drives global medical learning strategies to enhance medical capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning. By designing and implementing innovative programs, you will empower our medical teams to excel in their roles and navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.Who you’ll work withYou will collaborate with global, regional, and local learning teams, as well as medical experts and cross-functional business leaders. Together, you’ll identify learning needs, develop tailored programs, and build capabilities that align with organizational goals and patient value strategies.What you’ll do

  • Drive global learning strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead innovative training design and implementation using modern methodologies and tools.
  • Measure success by defining and optimizing onboarding plans and competency development.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify learning needs and create aligned strategies.
  • Act as an ambassador for learning, facilitating engaging and impactful experiences.
  • Lead change management to embed new competencies and foster continuous improvement.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Medical/scientific background (e.g., PharmD, MD) or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical/biotech.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in field roles or Learning & Development roles with a focus on field-based positions.
  • Willingness to Travel: If based in Brussels, the role requires flexibility to travel approximately twice per quarter. For candidates based in the UK or Germany, additional monthly travel to the headquarters in Brussels will be necessary.
  • Expertise in learning strategy, design, and adult learning principles.
  • Knowledge or experience in therapeutic areas (immunology, neurology, or rare diseases) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive change and influence diverse teams.
  • Strategic prioritization skills to align global efforts with organizational vision.
  • Decisive and action-oriented to accelerate skill and competency development globally.
