Oliver James have partnered with a multinational insurance company to recruit for a Financial Analyst! This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Accountant with Financial Services experience looking to move into a more commercial role.You will mainly be responsible for calculating and analysing the finance information to support the IFRS reporting experience and regulatory reporting process.Other responsibilities include;

  • Monitoring and management of the regulatory and financial performance.
  • Strategic planning and forecasting and the quarterly business review process.
  • Gathering and validating the qualitative information and data
  • Interpreting the financial information to create advice and recommendations for the wider business.

Key experience required to apply;

  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Insurance/ Financial Services experience

  • Stay abreast of industry changes related to financial regulations and insurance policies.

  • Profound knowledge of financial reporting and insurance reserving strategies.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional proficiency in using financial software programs and accounting systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex financial information in understandable terms.
  • Independent worker and proactive problem-solver, comfortable leading projects autonomously.
