Are you a creative, kind and experienced leader with a passion for mental health services? We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Manager to join our team and lead our multidisciplinary services to new heights. As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our services, ensuring the highest standards of care, and driving continuous improvement.Oxford Health delivers CAMHS service in BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire and Adult Eating Disorders in Swindon and Wiltshire. Our CAMHS services include a Single Point of Access, Getting Help and Getting More Help Teams, a Forensic CAMHS service, Mental Health Support Teams, Inreach (interface with social care) and a Crisis and Home Treatment team. You will lead a range of services across BSW, alongside two other experienced Service Managers.In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing and inspiring a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including medical, administrators, nursing, AHP, and psychologists. Your leadership will be crucial in delivering outstanding service quality, managing resources effectively, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.We are an experienced and innovative Senior Management Team who work closely together to ensure we are able to deliver an excellent service, whilst supporting one another. In this role we will support you to learn and to develop the skills you need to be an excellent service manager.Main duties of the jobYou will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and Inspire: Guide and motivate your teams to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Drive Quality Improvement:Ensure compliance with CQC standards and lead initiatives to enhance service quality and patient outcomes.
  • Manage Resources:Oversee budget management, develop financial plans, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Champion Change:Lead transformation programs, implement best practices, and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate with patients, carers, and partners to shape the future of our services.

  • Educated to Master’s degree level or equivalent professional experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development

Desirable

  • Participation in a relevant NHS Senior Management Development Programme

ExperienceEssential

  • Substantial experience managing health and social care staff. To include a range of knowledge base and experience of how to maximise peoples skills
  • Extensive experience of the development of good relationships across a range of key stakeholders
  • Substantial experience of directly leading substantial change

  • A well developed team player
  • High degree of motivation and commitment to the organisation
  • Ability to see the bigger picture as well as the local picture at any one time
  • Honesty and integrity
