EPIROC SENA RECRUITS A REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
DIGITAL SOLUTIONS FOR MINING AND CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENTS (M/F)
To further develop Epiroc SENA region (South Europe and North Africa), we are looking for a talented Regional Business Development Manager to develop the Digital Solutions Division (DSD) in the segments we operate, being recognized as a market leader.
DSD Division is providing solutions that drive the digital transformation of the mining and construction industries with a dynamic range of technology-agnostic digital solutions that improve safety, productivity, and sustainability onsite, from the control room to the boardroom.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Regional General Manager SENA, the RBDM is a key player within the organization and part of SENA management. he/she is in charge for the development and achievements of long-term Divisional goal in the assigned territories such as: Italy, France, Belgium, Greece, Israel, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya.
MAIN MISSION:
- Define and elaborate, together with the local and regional management team, specific strategy and follow up actions to ensure that all financial and non-financial targets set by management are properly achieved.
- Develop sales activities in accordance with the guidelines defined by the regional and local Management team with the aim to give each product the best opportunity of success on the market with strong focus on customer, territory, and channel management.
- Lead internal and external sales network to make sure we have excellent territory management with the objective to give all products, solutions, and divisions their best chance in the market.
- Develop marketing and product strategies together with Regional Business Line Managers, as well as be an important input source for product development and acquisition proposals and always promote close cooperation with other divisions to achieve the best results for Epiroc.
- Monitor monthly financial performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Assist, support and advise local sales representatives in the creation of their action plan, its implementation and the development of their activities to reach the goal settled.
- Ensure continuous development of the markets with the territory / segments / products with efficient use of Business Partnership management.
- Ensure close cross-functional collaboration with Business Managers and Service Operation Managers of the region to implement efficient and customer-oriented process focused on the achievement of superior sales performances and market share.
- Train and support sales team on products and applications
- Have an efficient working capital management (rental, inventory and receivables) and the right products in stock to minimize stock days, yet not lose deals.
- Participate to the development and implementation of the sales and service strategy, in close collaboration with the Service Operation Managers and management teams of each country in the region
- Prepare the yearly marketing and budgetary plan for the business line(s) under his/her responsibility.
- Propose evolutions on offers to better respond to the market.
- Implement measures and actions enabling to develop a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Build and develop a close relationship with all company services.
- Follow up on commercial disputes, as support of the technical and commercial teams.
- Develop strong people, care, e.g., staff training and development.
- Ensure through partnership with the local branding and communication team the availability marketing material for the promotion of relevant products to support brand and product visibility.
- Ensure integrity and transparency in operations and structure by ensuring that Epiroc Code of Conduct is understood and applied in a relevant manner.
- Manage, follow and control of his/her service costs
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS :
- Strong managerial & organizational skills,
- Solid Technical and Digital knowledge.
- Significant knowledge of the specific business products and its application
- Considerable experience in a Sales company, in Sales and Marketing related roles
- Significant experience within the construction and mining or related industries.
- Proven experience of customers and sales channel management and IDS
- Experience in providing solutions to customers
- 5 years’ experience in comparable position
- Excellent command of English written and oral
- Knowledge of French or Italian language both written and oral are a strong asset
- Good computer and presentation skills
- Business financial knowledge
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
- 5 years University Degree or similar through experience

PLACE OF WORK :
The position will be based in any Epiroc offices within SENA area (France, Italy, Morocco, Greece), frequent travels throughout the territories are inherent to the position as well as one-off trips abroad mainly within product companies for instance Sweden, South Africa, Australia, USA, Canada..
Valid light vehicle driving license is a prerequisite.
