Product Security Engineering Specialist

In the BCSS Core Network Engineering – Security Engineering, we are responsible for the full spectrum of security across the entire business area, including driving security into products and services that will be used by across the globe, and interwoven into their daily lives. We are now looking for someone who can help us ensure that the networks of the future are protected from Cyber Attacks, resilient enough to survive disasters and use the latest security technologies. The candidate should be someone who enjoys a challenge, is willing to learn new things and loves working in a team. Ideally, she/he will have a passion for technology and some knowledge of cyber security, cloud environment and the ability to see how their actions can impact the bigger picture. This position will be based in the France R&D Center, but work closely with other team members of BCSS CNE SE, based in Sweden, Spain and Canada

In this position, you will

• Provide security engineering skills and project management to design and develop product security controls. 
• Drive the implementation of Security controls into our security product processes and workflows, including in CI/CD, Cloud Native Applications and 5G for example SCAS TS controls/
• Drive the development environment security audits, for example NESAS and NIST SSDF based audits;
• Identify and solve security systemic, organizational-wide problems, influence, and build strong relationships with security champions across the organization
• Experience working on DevOps workflow
• Experience with containerization / orchestration ( docker, k8S, ..) is a plus;
• Lead security technical presentations to adapt different levels of key business and technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with senior leaders within the Business area and Security engineering team in different security product tasks
• Conduct the brainstorming across the team to enhance the product security posture with the dedicated innovation.
• Lead technical discussions and be a thought leader during security product reviews and negotiation
• Design and execute process and strategy frameworks that enhance our security product – posture and their related goal setting, decision making and business impact.

To be successful in the role you should have:

• Knowledge of Cyber Security and a view on how strategy can lead change in a large organisation, and feel able to take ownership for it
• Proficiency in Telecom Security Standards, notably NESAS / SCAS.
• Good knowledge of sourcing rules and challenges.
• Good knowledge about the Ericsson portfolio. What products do we have and where does it belong in the solutions and organization.
• Ability to mentor, coach and innovate in knowledge sharing
• Proficiency in English, French is a plus.
• Excel in adapting and responding to change. You are a self-starter, persistent and curious.
• Previous experience in implementing security principles in cloud applications is a plus.
• Formal certifications in security are not required, but are a plus. CISSP and ISO 27k strongly welcomed. You will be supported in achieving these as part of your personal development.
