We are looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Canary Wharf, Inner London, starting in April 2025. You will work with students with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help to provide tailored learning plans that support their academic and social development. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children while working in a supportive, well-resourced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons for students with SEN, ensuring an inclusive and engaging learning experience.
- Work closely with the SENCo and other staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
- Monitor and track students’ progress, adapting strategies to meet their evolving needs.
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters the students’ confidence and self-esteem.
Ideal Candidate:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
- At least 1 year of experience working as an SEN Teacher.
- Experience with a variety of SEN, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, and dyslexia.
- A strong understanding of SEN strategies, behaviour management techniques, and the ability to differentiate instruction.
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
