As a Design Engineer, you will focus on the development of combines in the crop processing area. Working alongside the international team, you will be responsible for designing and developing moderately complex structures and sheet metal components, ensuring they meet stringent performance, durability, quality, and serviceability standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to optimizing designs for production while ensuring alignment with the broader project goals.
Your Impact

-Assist in designing and developing structures and sheet metal components.
-Support finite element analysis and validation plans.
-Prepare technical documentation and manage engineering changes (EPDM or similar tools
-preferred).
-Participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.).
-Contribute to product validation and testing activities.
Your Experience and Qualifications

-Education: Diploma Perito, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-Experience: 3–5 years in mechanical engineering
-Agriculture machinery and equipment background required
-Proficient in solid modelling (ProE preferred) and MS Office tools.
-Experience with drawing layouts and GD&T methodology.
-Extensive experience in the design and development of sheet metal and fabricated steel structures, including welded and bolted assemblies and mechanical.
-Nice to have: knowledge of crop flow mechanics, finite element analysis, DEM, CFD tools and linkages and proficiency in the design and specification of sheaves, belts, and bearings.
-Strong problem-solving skills with a positive and collaborative attitude.
-Fluent in English and Italian.
Willingness to participate in field test activities, investigating concerns, identifying effective resolutions, and reporting results, primarily within European countries.
Availability for occasional international travel to locations such as Europe, the United States, and Brazil.
