Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Security Specialist to join our client’s growing organisation. Our client is a global organisation and leader in the field of artwork management systems creation and production services to the life sciences industry. Some of their own clients are within the top 20 pharmaceutical companies while also working with over 150 life sciences companies. The company goal is to digitally transform the world of labelling and packing artwork.The Senior Security Specialist will be responsible for assessing the company’s current security posture, implementing industry best practices, and leading the development of a robust security framework tailored to the organisation’s needs. The IT Security Specialist will report to the Global Head of IT and work collaboratively with existing IT staff to integrate security measures seamlessly into our operations.Responsibilities:
- Regularly identify IT security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Design and maintain a robust security framework.
- Lead investigations and responses to security breaches.
- Ensure adherence to relevant information security laws and standards. Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Incident Reporting: Generate and present regular security reports.
- Work with IT teams, management, and partners on security. Guide and set objectives for the security team.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in information security roles, with a focus on security architecture, incident response, and risk management.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or equivalent certifications demonstrating expertise in information security management and practices.
- Proven experience in leading security incident response activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in conducting security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls.
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and endpoint security solutions.
