  • Provide input to production engineering requirements for inclusion in industrial contracts.
  • Maintain the master document lists, bilateral documents, engineering plans, requirements baseline, and other governing documents, ensuring the content is consistent and accurately reflects the design baseline evolution, and coordinating review and approval processes.
  • Review the Configuration Item Data List (CIDL) and as-designed / design baseline evolution, the As-Built Configuration List (ABCL) evolution, as well as performing the reconciliation between both CIDL and ABCL
  • Perform the function of ECB secretary, prepare and support ECB meetings, (e.g. collect the required inputs, prepare the agenda and minutes of meetings, coordinate the follow up actions, disposition of amendments, ensure documentation management and dissemination, update related databases) support the review and disposition of Request for Waiver (RFWs), Request for Deviation (RFDs) and configuration change requests / proposals. Update and maintain technical baseline documentation for CCB review.
  • Provide support to ESA provided equipment, (e.g. equipment being operated in or on international partner modules)
  • Support the project team in Technical Reviews with Industrial Consortia or International Partners (e.g. PDR, CDR, QAR, Manufacturing / Integration / Test Readiness reviews, Post-Test reviews, Pre-Shipment reviews, Delivery Review Boards), by reviewing the associated data packs for completeness, coherency and for proper change and waiver implementation.
  • Provide review of technical industry proposals
  • Support team and technical meetings with industry or International Partners
  • Plan and support audits / physical inspections regarding engineering and PA&S
  • Support project teams in implementation of harmonized engineering practices throughout the agency and its projects.
  • Monitor engineering processes to be specific, accurate and controlled, yet agile and adaptable to allow rapid implementation of process improvements.
  • Support project teams to identify and introduce automated methods and tools to streamline and improve team collaboration and configuration and data management tasks.
  • provide updates to documentation of related processes and procedures.

What you offer:

  • Good experience and background in production, assembly, test, quality assurance, configuration control and documentation management of complex spaceflight systems
  • Good experience and background in standards, working procedures and management of applicable requirements compliance.
  • Good experience and background in application of centralized IT tools for mission development and complex production data management
  • Experience in production, assembly, testing, and quality assurance of complex spaceflight systems.
  • Ability to manage configuration control, technical baselines, and documentation for design evolution and project tracking.
  • Good experience and background in adhering to standards and managing compliance with technical requirements.
  • Experience supporting technical reviews, audits, and physical inspections with industry and international partners.
  • Proficiency in using centralized IT tools for mission development and complex data management.

Where:You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium.
