-Support the accounting responsibilities within the Accounting Office.
-The position works among cross functional teams to ensure the accounting activities are appropriately analyzed, processed and documented in compliance with internal controls, process and procedure and local country regulations.
What you’ll do

-Responsible for day-to-day payroll administration
-Perform timesheet validation
-Assist payroll vendor with employee allowances, benefits, and net payroll processing
-Process monthly and annual tax filings and of social contributions
-Perform absence tracking and audits
-Perform Pay Plan updates when applicable and misc. bonus payments
-Communicating with payroll vendors, HR, managers, & employees
-Assist and/or complete misc. ad hoc projects as assigned
-To be aware of and sensitive to differences and work in a way consistent with the principles of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice
-To maintain and respect confidentiality always and to ensure adherence to the Company’s Confidentiality Policy
-To actively participate in regular coaching & counselling meetings, performance reviews and development meetings
-To undertake appropriate training as agreed with their manager and to take responsibility for self-development

All you’ll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
-University degree with a focus in Accounting or equivalent education/experience
-At least 3 years of experience in the related field
-Experience with international business practices, tax and labor laws
-Fluent in verbal and written English and French
-Demonstrated excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
-Must possess critical thinking skills as well as being a strategic thinker
-Commitment to high standards, integrity and ethics
-Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
-Ability to deal with confidential subject matter
-Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
-Ability to work flexible hours when required
-Good team player
-Adaptable to change
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
-CPA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent education/certification
-Demonstrated knowledge of airline accounting practices
-Demonstrated knowledge of SAP
-Ability to speak additional languages relevant for the countries of responsibility
