An exciting opportunity has opened for a Credit Control & Contracts Lead position within the vibrant Not For Profit sector, focused on managing contracts, overseeing credit control operations and process improvements.

  • Overseeing the complete process of credit control within the company.
  • Managing and reviewing contracts in alignment with organisational policies.
  • Ensuring accurate financial records and regulatory compliance.
  • Supporting in the leadership of the Finance team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment for all support, housing, and day service contracts.
  • Resolve discrepancies and delays in payments to achieve this within the ideal 60 days.
  • Lead a 6-month project to recover a stock of aged debt.
  • Collaborating with other departments to meet organisational objectives.
  • Reporting financial insights to senior management.
  • Implementing new strategies for financial growth.
  • Providing financial advice and support to the wider team.

Opportunity to join a leading UK CharityOpportunity to head up a Credit Controls FunctionA successful Credit Control & Contracts Lead should have:

  • Part qualified accountant/ CICM qualified would be beneficial.
  • Experience working with local authority, in social care or in the charity sector.
  • Experience in credit control and contract management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members & achieve excellence.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
  • Proficient use of finance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to influence.
