We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Head of Computer Science to join our Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) campus at the British School in the Netherlands (BSN). As a non-selective school, we are proud to be an innovative role model, promoting high-quality educational practices.The RoleComputing is a popular and growing subject at the BSN. At Key Stage 3, the subject is taught in mixed ability groups. At GCSE, students currently follow the Pearson Edexcel syllabus. Our first IBDP cohort started in September 2023 and will take their exams in May 2025. There is one other full-time member of staff in the department.The BSN is a 1:1 device school, with all students and teachers using Microsoft-based devices.We especially welcome applications from teachers who can contribute to our co-curricular programme. Our current co-curricular activities are well-attended across all year groups.
