Description Overview

Managing the sales forecasting and IBP process for the market to meet forecast accuracy objectives. Collaborating closely with various key stakeholders (Marketing, Commercial, Finance teams) to ensure that the most relevant data and insights are used to generate an optimal sales forecast for a portfolio of products. You’ll be actively involved in driving forward forecasting improvements to support and achieve challenging targets.

Scope of the Role

Demand Planning

-Generate monthly demand plans by gathering and analyzing all data needed to create the sales forecast and submit monthly forecasts to Perrigo corporate for selected corporate brands
-Build the statistical forecasts from the corporate planning tool (SAP IBP) by effectively maintaining the inputs driving the forecast (model, sales history, seasonality etc)
-Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that promotions, NPD and new distribution listings (or de-listings) are embedded in the sales forecast. 
-Take active role in Budget and Latest Estimate processes collaborating with other functions.
-Identify forecast risk and opportunities and incorporate supply and regulatory risks and constraints to the forecast.
-Perform and maintain SKU segmentation to drive forecasting strategy and manage exceptions. Coordinate SKU simplification process working with commercial and finance teams.
-Run monthly root cause analysis for forecast accuracy deviations and build and execute corrective actions
-Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach. 
-Create and maintain standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems. 
 

Customer Supply Chain Management

-Work closely with Supply and Sales teams to ensure service levels are met.
-Develop reports and monitor performance for the team.
 

Portfolio Management

-Ensure new product introductions are timely reflected in demand plans, and optimal profiles set in the forecasting tool
-Ensure demand plans and forecasting tool is updated for phase-out products
-Track performance of NPD against plan

Experience Required
-Management, Engineering or a similar degree
-Experience: 2-3 years in Demand Planning 
-Languages: English and Turkish
-IT tools: SAP, MS Office and SAP IBP (preferable)
-Discipline / Organization – Shows initiative and delivers results independently.  Ability to structure and run effective meetings
-Attention to Detail – Excellent eye for detail.  Ability to work under pressure with speed and accuracy.  Using KPIs and metrics to influence decisions.
-Initiative / being pro-active – Self-starter, requires minimal supervision, identifies issues and solutions while being commercially aware.
-Flexibility – Responds to change as an opportunity for continuous improvement.
-Collaboration – Able to work well & communicate effectively with others.  Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Planning teams.
