We know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our customers and the communities where they live.We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Potable Tank Team as a Capital Delivery Project Manager!EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOWWe have a brilliant opportunity to join our Potable Tank Capital Delivery team as a Project Manager in our Finham office.While in this role, you will play a key role in being responsible for day-to-day management and safety of the project and must be competent in managing the six aspects of a project, i.e. scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources. Well-developed interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication and conflict management are also vitally important.LETS TELL YOU MOREReporting directly to the Lead Project Manager, the Project Manager will be accountable for delivering large civil engineering projects ranging from £1M to £30M
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role to make sure projects stay on track, are delivered on time, within cost, and focusing on the quality of the project.
You’ll manage projects in line with risk mitigation processes, and financially track the progress whilst managing budgets. As well as this you’ll work collaboratively with our in-house design engineers, external design consultants and delivery partners, PMO and Commercial teams, as well as monitor performance against project programmes.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORYou’ll ideally be degree qualified in a technical engineering discipline, qualified or working towards Chartered Engineer status and have a qualification in APM or PRINCE2. We will consider appropriate transferable experience.
You’ll be a forward thinking and innovative Project Manager handling multiple multi-million pound capital engineering and construction projects using a gated project delivery process. Ideally you will either be an accredited NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager or have extensive experience of managing projects under NEC3 or NEC4 Conditions of Contract, with a proven track record of cost planning, management, and budgetary responsibility. You will have awareness of CDM.
