WELCOME TO BASFBy constant innovation during the years, BASF A/S Ballerup has developed a unique powder formulation technology. We are specialised in microencapsulated formulations of vitamins, carotenoids and Omega-3. Our products are mainly used in the food, beverage and medical industries.We are now looking for a new Process Manager/Team Leader for our Process Management department to help us further develop and maintain our unique process technology as well as our team.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTAs one of our project managers you will be a part of the Process Management team consisting of scientists, lab- and application technicians as well as process operators. You will work primarily as project leader and also have the function as team leader heading a small team of process operators and laboratory technicians. Your main responsibilities include:

• Investigate the impact of process parameters on product quality.
• Optimize production by supporting automation and digitalization projects.
• Assist in technical process optimization to reduce costs.
• Transition product innovations from lab to full-scale production.
• Manage a small team of lab technicians and process operators (25% of your time).
• Report and communicate results and updates with stakeholders in Ballerup and globally.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Interest in learning our powder formulation technology and processes.
• You have 3-5 years of experience with powder product formulation in the food, biotech, or pharma industries, preferably with a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong project management skills and a passion for leading teams.
• Experience in managing diverse teams and enjoying it.
• Outgoing, open-minded, self-motivated, well-organised, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
