Overview:
- Provide input to Northern Europe purchasing strategy for IT & Purchased Services through category expertise development and market intelligence.
- Identify key productivity projects/initiatives within IT & Purchased Services categories, develop and align these with stakeholders and suppliers, and implement them to capture savings
- Ensure effective supplier relationship management: set up preferred supplier rosters, monitor and track supplier performance, and have periodic supplier review meetings
- Capture the value delivered from any procurement led or supported initiatives and ensure full alignment of productivity delivery with stakeholders and finance
- Support the execution of the Global Capability Center in the Region NE
Responsibilities:
- Support team to sustain IT & Purchased Services purchasing coverage, through driving credibility and trust with internal stakeholders, PepsiCo purchasing community and suppliers. Influencing key stakeholders through market insight, benchmarks, leveraging Europe category leads if needed.
- Build procurement expertise and market intelligence in IT & Purchased Services categories identifying business needs, developing market insights by working closely with the market intelligence team in HCC, and representing the market specificities in European strategy development.
- Effectively manage local stakeholders relations, capturing business needs / advise organization through change & transformation toward new ways of working with Procurement. Ensure early, pro-active engagement with budget holders to understand how the Procurement team can support
- Lead sourcing events for categories of responsibility.
- Build strong strategic supplier partnerships through Supplier Relationship & Performance Management, evaluation processes and relevant KPI’s covering quality/ service / innovation / sustainability / value for managed categories
- Develop and share best practices via effective networking with IT & Purchased Services category leads in Europe and other local IT & Purchased Services Buyers
- Control and governance for categories of responsibility
- Track, report and capture value delivery for categories of responsibility
- Support and collaborate with myBUY Tactical Buyers to keep stakeholders informed on process and influence the execution of projects through TB in the Region.
- Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with GP Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls.
Qualifications:Experience:
- Strong background in Indirects Purchasing within FMCG environment preferable (3years+)
- Ability to lead and apply strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and total cost of ownership
- Excellent business acumen, knowledge of financial fundamentals and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing, accuracy and persistence
- Ability to interact with key stakeholders and build trust at all levels of the organization
- Languages: Dutch and English.
- Degree qualified. Master with an affinity for finance, business administration or engineering.
