We are making significant strategic investments that will not only decrease our own environmental footprint, but also help customers adapt to long-term environmental and social change through the development of cleaner, greener solutions.The job incumbent is responsible to manage business transformation, migration, process optimization and technology projects.The objectives of the role are (i) to drive the delivery of the transformation related projects in respect of deliverables, timeline, and budget, (ii) to establish and run an effective project management governance and (iii) to propose corrective actions in conjunction with the project teams to ensure successful project implementation.Responsibilities:Engage with key stakeholders to identify project objectives and key products to be deliveredDevelop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions by building confidence and trust with clear professional communications and assured expectation management, ensuring effective collaboration across all teamsWork within the PMO framework, actively promote and adhere to the defined ways of working, leading by example and setting the bar of project management through delivery, driving quality and transparencyProactively look to address and resolve issues or conflicts timely during the project lifecycleManage process within agreed governance structures and processes via steering committees and senior leaders sponsorship, and ensure escalations and required decisions are addressed in a timely mannerDrive solution-based escalations, be prepared to escalate with recommended solutionsDrive effective project resource management to ensure availability and capability are in place to deliver objectives. Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams, set clear expectations of required deliverables, manage resources during the life of the projectDevelop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones and timelines/deadlinesEnsure a good understanding of the project subject and processes, enabling you to align transformation projects in-line with strategyDocumentation and templates to be fully utilised and maintained through the life of the project, driving quality outputs across the organisationDrive project execution through project methodologies; track delivery against plan and specified scope, managing day to day activities, identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project outcomesRecord information accurately and consistently using appropriate systems and provide and communicate timely information to relevant partiesDefine and manage plan for training of all relevant user groupsPerform stakeholder and change management activities by identifying areas of concerns & resistance and prepare mitigation strategies to ensure smooth implementation and successful benefits realisationAct as a Change Agent to ensure that the change process is deployed with minimal disruption and in a sustainable manner across the OrganisationDrive culture of innovation and continuous improvement visible hands-on leadershipRequirements:Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile)Expertise in Project Management Organization (PMO) and demand Management techniques, and methods.Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)Advanced skill level with Microsoft VisioProficienct in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and suite of Microsoft toolsExcellent training skills – must be able to train PMO methodologies and support the business where they have questionsExcellent presentation skills – must be able to produce high quality reporting and presentations for a variety of stakeholders.Facilitation Skills – must be able to work with a variety of stakeholders and gather informationExceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.Excellent active listening skills.Excellent analytical and abstraction reasoning skills, as well as problem solving abilityAble to work effectively at all levels in an organization.Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.Ability to prioritize and manage dynamic workloadGood understanding of finance processesStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent stakeholder management across all levelsProven ability to drive change management processesDemonstrated an ability to work across multiple functions and geographic boundariesStrong sense of result-orientationAbility to motivate teams to produce high quality results within tight time framesExcellent organization skills and attention to detail, working effectively across multiple projects to demanding deadlinesAbility to remain calm, effective, and positive even when under pressure; takes ownership for delivering outcomes.Arxada has world class offering in two distinct areas:Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.Arxada is an equal opportunity employer.
