About the RoleOur client, a global leader in ingredient supply and premix manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Manager to take ownership of their warehouse operations and stock control strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team and drive improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and stock management.Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stock strategies across the Aylesford site.
• Design and maintain an inventory tracking system to monitor stock levels accurately.
• Establish and track KPIs to enhance warehouse performance.
• Oversee warehouse operational costs, ensuring expenses remain within budget.
• Implement effective stock control, rotation, and shelf-life management.
• Conduct physical stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external suppliers.
• Reduce stock wastage through proactive expired stock management.
• Work closely with Procurement, Production, and Customer Support teams to improve service delivery.
• Manage supplier contracts and SLAs, ensuring service quality and compliance.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through spend analysis and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records across all internal and external warehouses.
• Lead and develop the warehouse team, ensuring training and performance management are in place.
• Support site projects and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.

About You

• Proven leadership skills with a passion for team development and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• A team player who leads by example.
• Resilient and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to other sites when required.
