Required Business Analyst Skillset
- Core Experience:
Strong transformational project background. * Proficiency in creating small user stories and enabling regular releases using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Kanban, and Sprint methodologies.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Technical Skills:
- Basic SQL knowledge to create and run SQL scripts
- Atlassian Confluence experience
- Business Analysis Expertise:
Ability to convert business requirements into detailed user stories for IT developers. * Expertise in working closely with Programme Managers and Scrum Masters to align team deliveries with the overarching Ellipse programme and DAO strategy.
- Leading requirements elicitation through workshops, interviews, and shadowing, documented as business requirements or catalogues.
- Collaboration and Design:
Supporting solution architects and IT partners during technical analysis. * Aiding the design phase by translating business requirements into solution designs with input from technology and business teams.
- Testing and Delivery:
Providing coordination and tracking outcomes during testing phases. * Ensuring successful delivery across the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Stakeholder Management:
Managing relationships with stakeholders and senior managementContribution to DAO Change Management Practice
- Offering insights to develop and enhance the Business Analyst role within the organisation.
- Driving adoption and standardisation of best practices across the BA community.
