The position is anchored in ROCKWOOL Digital – Web Applications and API Services Department – the department is responsible for delivering best value in web applications for our internal and external clients.As our new Front-End Developer you will join an organized team of 4 colleagues (developers (front and backend) and tester). You will be also cooperating with frontend developers in other teams.Your activities will be mostly related with building and supporting new web applications that will be used within ROCKWOOL factories – focus on supporting Factory of the Future programme.What you will be doing:You will be responsible for building responsive web applications and contribute to the future-ready, high quality and performance code base.More specifically, you will be:

  • Building a responsive and beautiful various Factory of the Future applications
  • Developing frontend applications using JavaScript, React and Next.js – extend libraries of reusable components and optimize existing ones for maximum performance
  • Implementing new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, software and hardware engineers
  • Pro-actively recommending new solutions or technologies to improve digital platform quality and performance

What you bring:

  • 3+ years software engineering experience with HTML, JavaScript, Node.js and CSS
  • 2+ year with React, Next.js, Redux, TypeScript, Sass, Webpack
  • Excellent knowledge of Core Web Vitals optimization
  • Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process
  • Experience in planning, implementing or delivering application features based on full stack technology
  • Experience with version control (GIT)
  • Familiarity with REST APIs
  • English proficiency on at least B2 level (verbal and in writing)
  • Knowledge of Agile techniques focused on delivering high quality software including but not limited to Continues Integration, unit testing, Test-Driven Development, code reviews
  • Workflow flexibility and strong teamwork skills
