As a Quality Assurance & Control Manager You will oversee the QA/QC team and collaborate with various departments to promote a transparent and cooperative work environment. Additionally, you will implement and maintain our clients Quality Management Process, standards, and systems, driving a culture of continuous improvement.Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site’s QA/QC team, creating an environment that promotes growth, engagement, and high performance.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards, while effectively managing quality incidents to guarantee product safety.
• Formulate and execute quality strategies for the Leeuwarden site, ensuring alignment with the company’s global quality objectives and initiatives.
• Oversee internal and external audits, instill a strong Quality Mindset across the site, and manage the tracking and reporting of quality performance metrics.
• Actively contribute to the Site Management Team, playing a key role in site-wide strategic development, including talent management and operational improvement.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of proven experience in quality management and assurance, with a strong preference for experience within the food industry.
• Academic qualifications in food technology or a related technical discipline.
• Expertise in implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and managing business change processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of effectively managing stakeholders and fostering collaboration.
• Willingness to relocate within a one-hour commute to the Leeuwarden site for optimal on-site engagement.
