Our partner is a leading player in the mobility sector, specializing in offering convenient, reliable, and safe transportation services.As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll join a high-performing Data Science team with access to all organizational data, working on impactful projects across vehicle and route management, user experience, pricing, fraud detection, and marketing optimization. You’ll use state-of-the-art tools and infrastructure to improve operations in over 40 cities worldwide, helping to shape the future of urban mobility.You will:

  • Propose and develop high-impact data science projects in collaboration with data, engineering, product, and business teams.
  • Design, execute, and analyze real-life experiments, following scientific methods to validate new product features.
  • Build and deploy machine-learning models, managing all aspects from training to monitoring and serving.
  • Translate data science outputs into actionable business insights to add value across the organization.
  • Participate in research and innovation, sharing new ideas and expanding the team’s knowledge base.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders, fostering a data-driven culture.
  • Act as a technical reference for the team, mentoring peers and promoting best practices.

You have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar research role.
  • A strong academic background (Master’s/PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in Python for data analysis and visualization, and proficiency in SQL for data processing.
  • Experience deploying and managing machine-learning models in production environments.
  • The ability to work independently in unstructured settings and take initiative.

Bonus Points for:

  • A strong foundation in Probability & Statistics.
  • Experience with scientific experimentation, including design, testing methodology, and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of advanced topics like deep learning, time series analysis, Bayesian statistics, or causal inference.
  • Proficiency in geo-data modeling and visualization.
  • Publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
