We’re Danmil A/S, Product Company of Atlas Copco Group, within the Medical Gas Solutions Division, within Compressor Technique. We’re based in Denmark, in Greve area and are proud to have joined the Atlas Copco Group earlier this year. Given this is integral to who we are we have a new and exciting opportunity for a QSHE engineer.Our roleThe QSHE Engineer is responsible for the establishment, implementation, documentation & maintenance of the quality of our products and the management system but also supports our company in improving continuously our production processes and managing plant & property activities.Process Quality responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvements activities through proactive reviews and observations
  • Monitor “First Time Right”
  • Ensure that every product is audited at its first production
  • Analyze the quality of finished products (Product Audits), register non-conforming products, perform analysis and create action plans and follow up. Assure that a minimum % of products is audited at the end of the manufacturing process.
  • In general, analyze test results from the test cells and non-conformities during the manufacturing process, performs analysis and create action plans and follow up. Suggest improvements.
  • Assure that working instructions are understood, followed, maintained and improved
  • Monitor Internal scrap and create action plans in accordance with the manufacturing supervisor
  • Support Sourcing by quality inspections, supporting in root-cause analysis, statistics, problem solving, assisting with and qualifying supplier processes and product quality, by supplier visits and audits when needed
  • Is essential in supporting Technical Support/Aftermarket/Engineering on handling claims from the field and warranties, monitoring/creating statistics and supporting in root-cause analysis, problem solving and follow up.
  • Actively participate in meetings related to quality (ex. TCM, PQM,….).
  • Look for improvements in the flow of parts and products, together with the manufacturing supervisor.

SHE Responsibilities

  • Adopt a very hands-on approach and be operationally responsible for the establishment, implementation, documentation & maintenance of the QSHE management system. In the management system, we store all policies, processes, procedures and tools.
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO9001-14001-45001-50000.
  • Oversee the implementation and observance of the Atlas Copco Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) within the company
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy work environment that asks for an ongoing alertness for possible near misses, incidents and for an adequate remediation. Report any accidents in systems.
  • Be responsible for the company Management System (SharePoint), making sure that procedures are followed, records are well kept, and procedures are maintained by the different owners, up-to-date, complete and according to Regulations/ISO standards/Group requirements.
  • Within the QSHE area, work to increase operating efficiency, reduce environmental impact, promote a safe and healthy working environment as well as satisfy our customers.
  • Prepare and lead audits (internal and external). Ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken based on the findings. Keep schedules.
  • Support legal compliance and reduce/mitigate risks. Update, review and assess compliance of the company with new regulations
  • Represent the company in official forums on QSHE (ex. Divisional PQM). Prepare KPI, follow up and reporting. Prepare and verify data for Group reporting on sustainability.
  • Lead local PQM’s.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Work towards reducing our impact on climate, increase awareness on the topic in the organization and promote sustainability.
  • Training to employees on QSHE matters and related areas
  • Support the business to ensure a strong safety culture is built and maintained.
  • Ensure all types of waste are handled correctly and properly registered when needed. Promote a culture of waste reduction, recycling, re-use and circularity with suppliers.
  • Energy, Water, Resources: follow up on company usage and promote initiatives for reduction.
  • Support in assuring company compliance with regulations in place for Products and components.

Plant & Property / Maintenance

  • Be the point of reference in the company for the subject and distribute requests to the relevant department / supplier + follow up on execution and time

What we expect from you?

  • We are looking for a high-energy performer, a doer, willing to put in the extra effort needed to meet the job goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving attitude, together with a logical thinking, fact-based and customer-oriented approach, are key for this role.
  • Being well organized, self-motivated, able to identify autonomously priorities and able to move from task to task according to new emerging topics under pressure will be an asset.
  • Collaboration attitude inside the team, with rest of the company and with external consultants, customers and business partners is fundamental.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are also very important.

Experience and knowledge requirements:

  • Ideally Engineering, quality background
  • 2-3 years of working experience
  • Fluent in Danish and English (oral and written)
  • Solid understanding of MS Office
  • Technical Knowledge of Process Filtration products or applications would be an advantage
  • Hands on person and capable to partly work in a cleanroom environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Proven results-oriented background
  • Good communicator
  • Team player
