RINA is currently recruiting for a Consultant – Economics, Finance & Strategy to join its office in Genova, Roma or Rozzano within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.MissionRINA is looking for a motivated Consultant/Senior Consultant specialising in Commercial Due Diligence, Financial Modelling and Market Analysis to join Economics, Finance and Strategy Discipline of RINA Consulting.Economics, Finance and Strategy Discipline delivers economics & finance and strategy-related consulting services such as Market Analysis, Commercial and Financial Due Diligence, Subsidized Finance (e.g., Innovation Fund, IPCEI, CEF, etc.), Business Planning & Financial Modelling, and Data Analytics. We deal with large companies, investment banks, and development banks.Key AccountabilitiesAs Consultant/Senior Consultant specialising in Commercial Due Diligence, Financial Modelling and Market Analysis, you will work as part of a young and motivated team, helping clients to:

  • Analyse market trends from an economic & financial perspective.
  • Conduct market research activities providing strategic insights on trends and regulations (focused on Energy Market).
  • Perform quantitative analyses (e.g., database development, dashboard, etc.).
  • Develop financial models for innovative projects particularly focused on decarbonization (e.g., solar, wind, hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, grids, etc.).
  • Design financial strategies and elaborate project applications to funding opportunities.
  • Deliver market analysis, cost-benefit analysis, business planning, business modelling, and exploitation strategies for Horizon Europe funded projects and participate in general assemblies and events around Europe.

EducationMaster’s Degree in EconomicsQualifications

  • Master’s degree in data driven fields such as Statistics, Engineering, Economics & Finance with record of strong academic achievements.
  • 2-5 years of work experience in management consulting firms or in similar roles in corporates.
  • Proven interest in energy market dynamics and policies (e.g., PPA structuring, carbon trading mechanism, funding opportunities & incentives).
  • Previous experiences in Commercial Due Diligence and Financial Modelling engagements are considered a strong plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
  • Very good command of the English language (written and spoken).
  • Ability to build and maintain and internal and external quality professional relationships.
