Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.As IT Product Owner for military business, you will be responsible for designing, delivering and maintaining digital solutions that enable the Avio Aero Supply Chain team to meet military programs’ requirements and regulations.
In this role you will have to ensure proper alignment with the digital platforms used for civil programs, leveraging common blueprints, infrastructures, and vendors wherever possible.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesPartner with all relevant business stakeholders from Supply Chain team to design and deliver digital solutions able to meet military programs’ requirements and regulationsCoordinate activities and projects spanning multiple Functions in a cross disciplined digital environmentOwn the whole Digital application lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, adoption and maintenanceAct as Digital Technology subject matter expert (SME) for Supply Chain processes. Bring expertise and lead project activities mainly in the ERP/SAP area and on Manufacturing Execution SystemsManage budgets associated with project deploy, project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project. Coordinate project resourcesBe proactive in exploring alternate technology and be able to make technology choices based on experience and impact analysisBe accountable for IT operational excellence, ensure compliance to GE standards & practicesSupport, advise, assist, and guide in-service applications problem resolutionsQualifications/RequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or High School Diploma with relevant work experienceProven and good knowledge of Supply Chain processesFamiliarity with operating in a complex environment (multi-business, multi-disciplinary and globally distributed teams)Significant experience with SAP with proven skills and expertise on Supply chain modules (PP, QM, MM, WM/EWM, SD, PM)Good expertise on Manufacturing Execution SystemsEstablished project management and organizational abilitiesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teamsStrong oral and written communication skillsFluent Italian and good English knowledge (written and spoken)Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired characteristicsPMP and ITIL certificationCompetencies in Agile and Scrum methodologiesAble to use Lean and 6 sigma tools and drive changeProven analytical and problem resolution skillsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
