Salary: £76.92 – £95.68 Per Day (Depending on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about providing tailored support to children with additional learning needs, helping them reach their full potential.About the Role:As an SEN Support Worker, you will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to provide targeted assistance to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties. Your role will be vital in creating a nurturing and structured learning environment that promotes student confidence and engagement.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in adapting lesson plans and activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement personalised learning strategies.
- Support students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where necessary.
- Ensure the well-being and safeguarding of all pupils.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational or support setting.
- A passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
- Have an updated CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained).
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
