Offer DescriptionWe are seeking a candidate for the position of Assistant Professor (PostDoc) to work full-time within the OPUS LAP project, aimed at understanding of the mechanisms of platform for bacterial infections using electrochemical sensors. The primary responsibilities will include the design and optimization of advanced nanostructures, the development of signal processing mechanisms, and the creation of diagnostic solutions leveraging modern analytical and material techniques.TASKS/ROLE

  • fabrication and optimization additive nanomanufacturing architectures
  • additive nano-engineering of carbonaceous multi-electrode arrays
  • development of mechanism of chemical-to-electric signal processing within tailorable receptor layers
  • multiparametric impedance discriminant analysis for simultaneous multi-analyte diagnostics
  • modeling and testing target receptor functionalization,
  • tailoring nanoarchitecture geometries and dependence for macromolecular interactions.

  • Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical technology, materials engineering or similar
  • experience in receptor functionalization, and/or development of electrochemical (bio)sensing routes, documented with articles in ISI journals
  • experience in additive nonadditive technologies
  • knowledge of electrochemistry of carbon-based materials and hydrogel-based composites
  • ability to supervision of scientific work and formulation of scientific topics of young members of the group
  • very good knowledge of English (C1 level or higher)
