Job Title Regional Category ManagerJob DescriptionMore About The RoleWe’re looking for a experienced Procurement Professional to join our Indirect Material Services Procurement team in Łodź or WarsawAs a Regional Category Manager, you’ll be reporting to Regional Procurement Lead in Europe a be responsible for all procurement activities assigned supply-base in following sub category or grouped sub-categories within procurement cluster: Industrial cluster (Production Equipment, Industrial Gases, Material Handling, Test & Measurement, Industrial Services & Parts, Environmental & Wastes, Testing & Certification)Your challenge
- Manage the suppliers with you designated sub-categories including the Supplier Relationship Management role within your scope
- Being responsible for gathering relevant benchmark data, supply market intelligence and supplier scouting
- Lead RFX (RFQ, RFI, RFP, e-auctions) generation and review process and manage supplier negotiations for the assigned scope
- Being responsible for managing the contracting process end-to-end, including legal alignment
- Provides regular reports to the demand side that brings visibility on value add, upcoming projects and compliance
- Being responsible for execution of the Category strategy, execution of supply base strategy and supplier strategy
- Developing and maintaining appropriate network inside and outside Signify to ensure successful execution of strategies
More About You
- You have bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- You 5-7 Years of relevant working experience (preferably in Procurement)
- You are recognized as a leader in strategic buying and/or supply chain processes, serving as a resource to others
- You are bringing market and/or technical knowledge from external sources and incorporates those ideas into procurement
- You can balance the needs of multiple customers.
- You have core data and analytic skills.
- You have experience in multi-cultural and global cooperation
- Advanced knowledge of English and Polish is required
