Location: Alcobendas, Madrid, Spain Job Type: Full-Time Start Date: March 2025 About Us: Hi there! We’re looking for a wonderful nanny to join our family and care for our bright and energetic six-year-old boy. He recently started 1st grade and has already completed his first trimester of school. The father is American, and the child is half German. He speaks Spanish, English, and German, and we’d love for his nanny to support his multilingual development in a fun and engaging way. What We’re Looking For: We’re searching for a kind, responsible, and experienced nanny who is fluent in Spanish and English (German would be a wonderful plus!). It’s important to us that you can communicate in these languages to help support our son’s education and language skills. A Day in the Life: – Pick up the child from school and accompany him home or to planned activities. – Assist with homework and school projects, encouraging his curiosity and academic progress. – Engage in fun and educational activities to foster his language skills. – Support his daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and bedtime preparation when needed. – Plan age-appropriate activities and outings that support his development. – Keep his play areas tidy and help organize his school materials, closet, and laundry. – Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks. – Maintain open communication with his father regarding schedules, activities, and any important updates. About You: – Fluent in English and Spanish (German is a plus!). – Excellent communication skills and ability to take directions. – Experience working with young children, preferably as a nanny. – Familiarity with child development and age-appropriate learning activities. – Patient, reliable, proactive, and warm-hearted. – Holds a valid driver’s license. – First aid and CPR certification is a plus. – Legally eligible to work in Spain. Our Schedule: – Monday to Friday: 4:30PM – 8:00PM – Weekends: Full-day availability with some flexibility for occasional evenings or holidays. – Availability to travel during school breaks and summer vacations. – 30 days off in the summer. – The schedule may be adjusted based on the school calendar and custody arrangement.
