To support the growing team, we are looking for talented and motivated Junior and Medior System Engineers to join the Managed File Transfer (MFT) team.Short descriptionAs a System Engineer specializing in file transfer solutions, you will ensure the secure and seamless exchange of data between internal systems and external partners. Your role will involve configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting file transfer frameworks while automating key processes to enhance operational efficiency.Main duties and responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain file transfer systems to ensure data integrity and security;
  • Set up and manage internal and external file transfer connections;
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to file transfer, ensuring minimal downtime;
  • Update and enhance existing file transfer frameworks to improve efficiency;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product owners, and architects;
  • Participate in incident and problem management, reducing recurring technical issues;
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline operations;
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation for reference and knowledge sharing.

Required competencies

  • Strong Linux knowledge with 1-3 years of experience (2-3 years preferred for junior candidates, 3-5 years for medior candidates);
  • Familiarity with file transfer concepts, including protocols, encryption, and certificate management;
  • Hands-on experience in system engineering (compute, network, and storage fundamentals);
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or Perl) for automation purposes;
  • Ability to work in an agile environment using JIRA/Kanban;
  • Analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset;
  • Strong communication skills in English;
  • Team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Desirable competencies

  • Experience with middleware components on open systems, Zos, or cloud environments;
  • Background in IT security best practices related to file transfer;
  • Knowledge of automation tools and self-service frameworks;
  • Exposure to ITIL processes and service management.
