Our Digital Energy team in the UK and Ireland is seeking a Graduate Consultant who will be part of a highly competent and passionate team helping our customers in the energy industry prepare for the future.Our team leads projects with a specific focus on cutting-edge digital technologies such as digital twins and artificial intelligence. We both support customers to successfully build and implement digital tech, but importantly we also assure these technologies are safe. We seek to grow our capability to deliver larger and more complex projects with customers in this space. By working in this team you will help to drive the growth of this exciting new area.Our Opportunity:As a Graduate Digital & Data Consultant, you’ll join a growing team of creative thinkers who love finding innovative solutions to the energy industry’s most challenging problems. Our diverse and creative team are passionate about working at the intersection of digital technology and the energy system, making a real impact on the future of our planet.Based from either our Bristol, Glasgow or London office, you’ll be given real responsibility from day one, collaborating with forward-thinking customers and technical experts across our business to deliver projects, helping deliver career and industry-defining projects. You will be given the time to build your network, the resources to support your development, and the freedom to satisfy your curiosity and desire to learn.Our role is an exciting and varied one, giving you opportunity to:

  • Contribute directly to the safe and effective use of advanced digital applications (ML, AI etc.) to the energy transition
  • Actively engage with customers to understand their challenges as they seek to make the energy industry safer and more sustainable, with a special focus on developing advanced digital applications applied to energy sector challenges
  • Own the development of specific project deliverables, which help our energy system customers achieve their strategic digitalization goals, including supporting the management of innovation projects with internal and external customers
  • Determine the scope of projects via consultation and investigation while analysing the strengths, weaknesses, and risks of existing project plans, as well as recommending improvements
  • Support proposal activities to support the development of new business
  • Collaborate across departments to set realistic project targets and timeframes, allocating personnel and resources to project tasks
  • Work with DNV’s global, multi-disciplinary teams to solve some of the energy industry’s biggest problems
