Number of posts: 1Hours of employment – full timeType of contract: employment contractDeadline for submitting documents: 22.04.2025Estimated competition outcome date: 30.06.2025Estimated start date of work: 01.10.2025Period of employment: two yearsThe competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.Requirements * The academic degree of Doctor of Laws obtained on the basis of a dissertation covering the issues in the area of financial law.

• Documented scientific achievements in the field of financial law (publications – also in foreign languages – active participation in the scientific conferences, including international conferences).
• Teaching experience at an academic level in conducting courses in the field of financial law.
• Knowledge of English at a level enabling the preparation and conduct of classes. In the case of a foreign candidate, fluent Polish is required.
• Experience in organizing national and international scientific conferences.
• Participation in research teams, including those related to the implementation of domestic of foreign research grants.
• Availability necessary to perform additional organizational functions in the Department.
• A declaration by the candidate that working at the University of Wrocław will be his(her) only employment.
• Declaration of conducting scientific research only in the discipline of Legal Sciences (on representing only the scientific discipline of Legal Sciences at 100%).

Responsibilities * Conducting scientific research in the field of financial law.

• Preparing scientific publications.
• Preparing and submitting applications for domestic and foreign research grants.
• Participation in national and international scientific conferences, in particular in terms of presenting papers.
• Conducting teaching classes in Polish and English in subjects at the disposal of Department of Financial Law.
• Participation in preparations for scientific conferences organized and co-organized by the Department Financial Law.
