Professionals that we empower to became leaders of change and to build meaningful careers.The RoleAs part of our commitment to the safety and well-being of our employees at Ferrer, we are looking for a passionate and highly competent person for Health, Safety & Wellbeing department to join our team.As a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor, your main role will be to ensure the implementation and compliance with health, safety and wellbeing policies and procedures at the pharmaceutical plant in Sant Cugat del Vallés, which has an approximate average workforce of 500 people.Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Integrating, deploying and developing the corporate preventive culture project in the pharmaceutical center.
  • Ensuring compliance with the occupational health and safety management system according to ISO 45001, working on continuous improvement (safety inspections, safety walks, safety talks, internal and external audits).
  • Coordinate and participate in the developing and updating technical documentation for the assigned centre/s to their responsibility and scope of ​​action (risk assessments, hygiene, ergonomics, psychosocial measurements, additional technical reports, emergency plans, etc.) ensuring their regulatory compliance and effective implementation.
  • Establishing annual objectives related to health, safety & wellbeing applicable to each centre under their responsibility, adapting them to the reality and specific needs of each work environment, as well as monitoring and evaluating them.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and/or approving PNTs (Work Procedures) related to health and prevention aspects.
  • Reviewing all safety-related documentation (machine assessments, ATEX, Emergency Plan, etc.) prepared by external companies to ensure compliance with current regulations and participating in its dissemination and implementation.
  • Assisting and attending labor inspection requirements, meetings of the occupational health and safety committee, coordination meetings for business activities, etc.
  • Monitoring Safety and Health KPIs.
  • Lead the investigation and analysis of relevant accidents and incidents, implementing action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Design and lead training and awareness programs, as well as communication campaigns.
  • Providing advice on safety matters for both facilities and equipment related to new industrial projects (integration with process engineering, production, maintenance, logistics, etc.).

RequirementsWhat you’ll need to succeedYou will rock at this company if you are a person with empathy, humility, curiosity and optimism.You will rock at this role if you match with:

  • University degree: preferably in chemical sciences, engineering, or related fields (however, if the profile is suitable, degrees in labor sciences and/or a diploma in Labor Relations will not be disregarded).
  • Mandatory Higher PRL (Occupational Risk Prevention) qualification with 3 specialties: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Applied Ergonomics and Psychosociology.
  • Knowledge in Product Safety (analyzing and evaluating the hazardousness of chemical substances) will be valued.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SPP or SPA
  • Preferably from the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Skills: Leadership and social influence, planning, organization, and teamwork.
