Join us in shaping the future of legal tech!Position OverviewWe’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer skilled in TypeScript to build and maintain scalable web apps. You’ll work on both the frontend and backend to create a smooth user experience. This is a full-time remote position that includes working in the CET time zone.Key Responsibilities
- Frontend:
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with Next.js and TypeScript.
- Work with designers to turn UI/UX designs into functional apps.
- Backend:
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with NestJS and TypeScript.
- Design secure, scalable backend architecture.
- Integrate with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
- Collaboration & Best Practices:
- Work with product managers, designers, and engineers in an Agile environment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and give constructive feedback.
- Keep up with new technologies and bring fresh ideas.
Requirements
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience with React and SSR implementation.
- Experience building responsive cross-browser UI
- Understanding of CI/CD, testing frameworks, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Soft Skills:
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Intermediate English level.
- Education & Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js or similar SSR frameworks
- Backend experience with Node.js (NestJS preferably)
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
- Experience with Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Familiarity with DDD.
- Familiarity with AI tools for code assistance.
What We Offer
- Contract-based, full-time role (40 hours/week) with a long-term commitment + options for employee role in UK or US.
- 100% distributed. Founder currently lives in Birmingham UK but may move to San Francisco.
- Competitive salary and option for share options depending on tenure and cash/equity balance preference
