Job description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessing the financial stability of suppliers
- Independently preparing financial analyses and creating assessments of suppliers’ financial situations
- Financial evaluation of business concepts, business plans, and restructuring concepts of suppliers in crisis situations
- Leading financial discussions with suppliers to develop appropriate solutions
- Coordinating cross-departmental cooperation and being responsible for implementing necessary actions in crisis situations, which will be managed on a global scale
- Providing support in insolvency-related matters, including verifying the plausibility of loss planning during the continuation period and reviewing invoicing of continuation contributions
Requirements:
- A degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
- Several years of experience in evaluating annual financial statements, business reports, and budget and planning calculations
- In-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Advanced proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
- A high level of responsibility, proactivity, and independence in work
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical thinking, assertiveness, and decision-making skills
Additional assets:
- Legal experience, particularly in German insolvency and restructuring law
- Willingness to travel for business
- Experience in the automotive industry
