Job description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration, with a strong background in SAP migration. The role involves leading the end-to-end SAP integration of two newly acquired manufacturing plants-one in the USA and one in Thailand-into our client’s existing production system.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ERP implementations, business transformation, and post-merger integration, as well as the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a global environment.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the SAP integration project for the two acquired plants, ensuring seamless system migration.
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops on-site in USA and Thailand to align business requirements with SAP functionalities.
- Oversee customization, data migration, and system configuration in collaboration with technical teams.
- Develop and execute training programs for end-users on-site in both locations.
- Manage the Go-Live process and Hypercare support to ensure a smooth transition.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
- Travel to USA and Thailand as required for key project phases.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in M&A integration projects-SAP migration experience is a must.
- Strong expertise in SAP ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA is a plus), including system integration and process alignment.
- Experience in manufacturing environments and global ERP rollouts is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops and user training.
- Ability to work across different cultures and time zones.
- Willingness to travel internationally (USA & Thailand) as needed.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP-related certifications are a plus.
