For our Client, a global legal services firm with an office in the centre of Warsaw, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Accountant / Independent Accountant.Responsibilities:

• preparing monthly and annual tax declarations (including VAT, WHT),
• supporting month-end and year-end closing in both corporate and statutory ledgers,
• managing daily cooperation with banks and overseeing financial transactions,
• performing bookkeeping in the local accounting system,
• processing corporate credit card transactions and monitoring cash flow,
• handling intercompany payments and reconciling partners’ remuneration,
• preparing statutory reports for the National Bank of Poland,
• participating in both local and global finance optimization projects.

Requirements:

• university degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics,
• min. 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or tax,
• strong working knowledge of Polish tax regulations, particularly VAT and WHT,
• proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel,
• good command of English,
• analytical mindset and ability to identify opportunities for process improvement,
