We are the biggest in the area and offer courses to all ages from 3 years old. We prepare a lot of students for the YLE, B1, B2 and C1 exams. Fast ApplyJob SummaryDetails of PositionDirector of Studies Kings English Academy, Torremolinos, MalagaA well-established and successful language academy in Torremolinos is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Studies (DOS) to lead our academic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and organised individual to play a key role in the design, implementation, and successful delivery of our academic programme.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the teaching programme to ensure high-quality instruction.
Work closely with the academy owners and teachers to create a cohesive and enjoyable learning experience for
students.
Support EFL teachers in lesson preparation, coordination, and delivery.
Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and examinations.
Monitor student learning, attendance, and punctuality to maintain high standards.
Conduct student assessments and place new students in the appropriate class levels.
Manage and brief teaching staff, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
Provide leadership, motivation, and professional development opportunities for teachers.
Organise and lead teacher meetings and workshops.
Maintain and oversee academic records and student reports.
Allocate teachers and prepare groups for upcoming courses.
Participate in course review meetings and contribute to programme improvements.
Ensure sufficient academic resources are available and used effectively.
Step in to cover classes when required.
Implement an open-door policy to foster communication and teamwork.Essential Qualifications & Skills:
English proficiency C2 in speaking, listening, writing, and reading.
Spanish C2 in speaking, writing, listening and reading.
DELTA or equivalent qualification in English language teaching.
Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Experience with materials development for EFL courses.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suites
A genuine interest in working with Young Learners, Teens, and Adults.
