Join a major UK-based nuclear programme where your planning and coordination skills will help engineering teams deliver innovative, safety-critical solutions on time and to budget.Your main responsibilities will be:

• Help coordinate and manage engineering activities across different teams to make sure the project stays on track.
• Build and maintain clear project plans, making sure timelines, dependencies, and key deliverables are well defined.
• Keep everyone aligned by driving regular progress check-ins and ensuring tasks are understood and on schedule.
• Track budgets and costs, flagging any issues early to avoid overruns.
• Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to support smooth delivery from planning to execution.
• Report project status to leadership, highlighting risks, blockers, or opportunities for improvement.
• Make sure all project work follows the right processes, safety rules, and quality standards.

• Confident working in highly regulated industries, ideally with nuclear or defence exposure.

QualificationsExperience, skills and qualifications required:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in technical project planning and delivery within a complex engineering environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Strong background in cost and resource management.
• Experience with task management and team coordination (“drumbeating”) across multiple disciplines.
• Nuclear, defence, or aerospace project exposure is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
