Are you an experienced AMHP – AMHP TeamDo you have a passion for helping others?If so, Randstad is recruiting for a AMHP to join the Rotherham Council – AMHP TeamThis is a full-time role offering up to £45 per hour.Here’s the Role:

• Conducting Mental Health Act assessments in various settings, ensuring legal and ethical practice.
• Making autonomous decisions regarding the necessity for detention under the Mental Health Act, always considering the least restrictive options.
• Working collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and a range of multidisciplinary professionals, including doctors, nurses, social workers, and police.
• Developing and implementing robust care plans, promoting recovery and social inclusion.
• Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with legal and organisational requirements.
• Upholding a comprehensive understanding and application of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Human Rights Act.
• Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and best practice within the AMHP service.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS

Experience:

• Adults Social Work
