Job description

  • Manage full-cycle accounting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in alignment with internal deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and external statutory obligations on both global and local levels.
  • Meet all reporting and task deadlines within defined service level agreements, including prompt handling of queries.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities, engaging with stakeholders to implement enhancements.
  • Support tax filings and statutory audits by meeting all compliance and submission deadlines.
  • Provide cross-functional team support during absences and assist with additional tasks or special assignments as needed.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet validations for assigned entities, ensuring account accuracy and taking corrective measures when discrepancies arise.
  • Perform financial analysis and partner with relevant departments to compile accounting and tax data for consolidated reporting.
  • Deliver periodic performance insights and business outcome summaries based on financial results.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to fulfill audit requirements and maintain audit readiness.
  • Uphold internal governance and risk control standards.
  • Assist regional finance teams in executing region-specific initiatives and supporting project needs.

  • Fluent in English and German, capable of handling business communications and client interactions across diverse markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage comprehensive accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control frameworks.
  • Skilled in reviewing and interpreting financial data, confirming account accuracy, and producing reports that inform operational performance.
  • Experienced in working with audit teams, supporting tax-related activities, and maintaining alignment with corporate governance standards
  • Adept at recognizing inefficiencies in financial processes, proposing practical improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
