We’re seeking an experienced Lecturer in Graphic Design to guide our students through the foundational and undergraduate levels of design education with insight, vision, and real-world relevance.PositionYour Role
- Deliver design-focused modules at Levels 3-5, including visual communication, typography, branding, and digital design.
- Use real-world briefs and industry-standard tools to enhance student engagement.
- Guide students in developing strong portfolios and professional practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-disciplinary initiatives and course design.
- Mentor students in both academic and career development areas.
RequirementsWhat You Bring
- A degree in Graphic Design or related field; postgraduate or equivalent professional practice preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching in UK higher education.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and awareness of contemporary design practices.
- Experience balancing conceptual teaching with technical skill-building.
- (Desirable: PGCert, HEA Fellowship, live client project experience)
