Offer DescriptionCall for applications for a Postdoctoral Position (Adiunct in the group of research staff) within the NCN OPUS 27 project no. 2024/53/B/ST5/04311: “Liquid Crystal Templates for the Synthesis of Morphologically Chiral Perovskite Nanocrystals with Enhanced Emission Dissymmetry.” Principal Investigator: Dr. hab. Wiktor Lewandowski, Prof. of the University of Warsaw.We invite applications for a full-time postdoctoral position in the field of natural sciences, in the discipline of chemical sciences. The position does not involve activities subject to child protection regulations. Applications from individuals of all genders are welcome.A person who obtained a doctoral degree no earlier than 7 years before the year of employment in the project (this period may be extended in some cases) and meets the formal requirements of the National Science Centre included in the regulations for granting funds for the implementation of tasks financed by the National Science Centre in the field of research projects for the OPUS27 competition may be employed in the post-doc position:Where to apply E-mail[email protected]RequirementsResearch Field Chemistry Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or related fields (must be obtained no later than the employment start date),
• Documented experience in the synthesis of perovskite nanocrystals and/or morphologically chiral nanoparticles, supported by publications,
• Experience in developing new synthetic methods for nanoparticles,
• Experience in laboratory work, experiment planning, data analysis, and supervising PhD students and/or undergraduates,
• Good command of English,
• Ability to work in a team,
• Fulfillment of the conditions set forth in Article 113 of the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018 (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571).
