The interview date will be 25 September 2025The Deputy Associate Director of Nursing will be managerially and professionally accountable for a number of wards/departments, Matrons and Lead Nurses. They will provide clinical and professional leadership to the assigned clinical wards and departments and specialist nursing teams ensuring that action is taken at all levels to empower nurses/midwives to provide high standards of care in a safe environment. They will uphold the reputation of the profession and adhere to the NMC codes of conduct, making the care of all people their first concern. The Deputy Associate Director of Nursing will be highly visible and recognisable to patients, relatives and staff and act as a champion for privacy and dignity, professional standards and patient advocacy. They will act as a role model, demonstrate respect, dignity and compassion when delivering their professional duties, and uphold the principles of equality and diversity.The Deputy Associate Director of Nursing will demonstrate effective leadership, setting, monitoring and maintaining professional and clinical standards, working collaborative, manage complaints and lead the nursing contribution for clinical governance at a specialty/department level. - Teaching qualification or demonstrable evidence of equivalent relevant experience
- Educated to degree level
