New – we are actively seeking an experienced Corporate Partner to join a highly regarded Legal 100 law firm based in Reading with offices across the South-East, South-West and Midlands.This is a Chambers-rated top-tier corporate practice which offers excellent exposure to an impressive array of both regional, city and global clients.This opportunity will suit a senior individual who is looking to lead on complex M&A and Private Equity transactions.This is a partner opportunity for an experienced individual to join a rapidly expanding corporate department and play an integral role in the future expansion of the team moving forwards.The successful individual will have some experience in areas including:

• Private Equity, Purchase and Sale of businesses, Mergers, Acquisitions, Joint Venture agreements, Shareholder Agreements, Terms of Business etc.

• You will have extensive experience across a range of work, including M&A, JVs, restructures, private equity and venture capital.

Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members. * Experience in handling fast-paced and highly demanding clients.

• Excellent technical ability.
• Commercially aware.
• Appetite for business development / own client following

The positions offer the opportunity to work on a broad variety of matters. You will have experience of, and typically be involved in, the following:

• Advising on disposals and acquisitions of private companies and company assets

• Corporate advisory matters

• M&A

• Private Equity Investments

• JVs

• Group restructurings

• Capital markets listings / IPOs

• Public company takeovers

• Institutional equity issues
