James Fisher Medical Centre, located in Muscliffe, Bournemouth, is seeking a Salaried GP to join our team, working between 4 and 8 sessions across the week.Salary will be competitive and in accordance with the rest of the Salaried GP team and we welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified GPs.Main duties of the jobAll of our GPs work a proportionate share of duty and general GP sessions and we’re always looking for ways to improve.We use Systmone and all GP appointment requests are triaged by the duty GP team to ensure that patients are seen by the right member of the primary care team, with urgent requests being prioritised.Our telephone appointments are 10 minutes and face to face appointments are 15 minutes. Our patients use Systmconnect to request a GP appointment.About usWe are a well-established and successful practice with 12,500 patients and we are part of the Bournemouth Central Primary Care Network.Our team includes 5 GP Partners and 4 Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, Phlebotomists and a Health Care Assistant. We currently have 2 Advanced Practitioners who will be moving on at the end of August.
