Job Title: Executive Planner
Location: Dublin City Centre
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading planning and development consultancy in their search for an Executive Planner to join their growing team in Dublin.
This well-established firm has been shaping Ireland’s urban landscape for over two decades, delivering innovative and sustainable planning solutions across a wide variety of sectors including urban regeneration, residential, infrastructure, and tourism.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Executive Planner to play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice and managing diverse projects across both public and private sectors. You’ll work within a collaborative and supportive team environment where creativity, initiative, and professional growth are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver successful planning outcomes across multiple sectors.
* Contribute to the preparation and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), ensuring compliance with planning and environmental regulations.
* Provide clear, concise planning advice to clients and assist in developing effective project strategies.
* Support the preparation and management of large-scale planning applications, including research, appraisals, and appeals.
* Keep up to date with planning legislation and best practice to ensure the highest standards of professional delivery.
Requirements
* Degree or Master’s in Town Planning (or equivalent).
* Chartered Member of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI) and/or Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a planning role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
* Strong communication and report-writing skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
