Position Summary

Within Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), the Host Services and Data Communication (HSDC) department is responsible for daily operation and management of host services (OASE, Petrol Manager, SMOS, PSE, Konnect, Azure, …) provided to our customers. Additionally, input is provided in the defining and development process of the full product portfolio.

As application support engineer, you will become part of the technical backbone of the Systems Business Unit for the EMEA region. You will receive primarily on-the-job training and will become part of a strong team of professionals in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

-The daily operations of host products (OASE, TSS, SMOS, PSE, Petrol Manager, One, Konnect, DX,  …) with an initial focus on Data Services products. In due time, the goal is to achieve a in depth understanding of all host systems including the DFS fuel station management products (Prizma, Fusion…).
-Support the internal and external organization.
-Participate in the mandatory certification programs and the mandatory recurring internal and external audits and recertification.
-Define, complete and maintain the host related projects with/for our partners and customers.
-Interface with the engineering department.
-Interface with the support organizations.

Reporting

Both operational and functional to the Manager Application Support (located in Turnhout)

Profile – Knowledge

Higher education (Bachelor/Master) in Computer Science/ICT, Electronics or equal by experience.

Good knowledge (and ideally professional experience) of database engines (SQL Server), Systems, Microsoft Operation system and related server suites, cloud applications (Azure). Notion of programming languages. Good knowledge of office suite (word, excel, outlook, etc. …).
