1:1 Teaching Assistant

Role & Responsibilities
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide individualised support to a child in an Early Years setting. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to develop and implement learning plans, and create a positive and engaging learning experience for the child. You will help the child to reach their full potential.
Main tasks include
* Delivering individualised learning support to a child with SEN.
* Collaborating with the teacher to develop and implement learning plans.
* Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
* Monitoring and documenting the child’s progress.
* Communicating regularly with parents/carers.
Requirements
* Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
* Proven experience supporting children with SEN.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
* Experience working in an Early Years setting.
* Immediate availability.
