The opportunity

The role of the Academic Recruitment Coordinator is to contribute to the recruitment of students to Central Saint Martins and University of the Arts London by advising applicants and making offers to the most appropriate applicants at all study levels as well as, when required, running workshops, delivering guest lectures and representing UAL and College when participating in promotional activities in the UK and abroad. 

This role involves travel overseas to fulfil the role and duties (Up to approx. 10 weeks per year). 

About you

With experience of teaching in Further or Higher Education, you will have knowledge of the processes and procedures involved in the recruitment and selection of students, as well as the ability to advise people on the most appropriate course of study for them.  You will have a strong academic background and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively, explaining complicated matters simply, tailoring delivery methods/media to suit the audience’s needs and understanding.  Excellent written and oral communication skills with well-developed cross-cultural sensitivity are essential.
